I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were unique but having shared showers and changing rooms might not be for everyone. The staff went above and beyond, even helping with a surprise proposal. The location was breathtaking, but the design flaws were noticeable. The dining was enjoyable, though not as fancy as expected.

My stay at the ice hotel was definitely unique and memorable. The rooms were cozy with only an ice bed but included fun games, sauna, spa, and complimentary tea and coffee. While a bit small for my liking, the room was suitable for two people. The service was exceptional, with the staff taking dinner orders and going out of their way to create a fun, childlike experience for all guests. Although there were no electrical sockets in the room, the hotel compensated with a free plate of cheese and after-dinner liqueurs. The location provided amazing opportunities to experience the Northern Lights by walking along the Alta River and enjoying activities like tobogganing and snowshoeing. Dining was a delightful experience with a variety of delicious dishes, especially the buffet. The facilities were top-notch, ranging from the sprawling restaurant to the warm fireplaces.
